HOAs, apartments & condos

The pool is for residents. Now the gate knows who they are.

Residents scan a QR code at the pool gate, clubhouse or fitness room, verify their phone, and get in during amenity hours. Guests come on a resident's pass, renters lose access when the lease ends, and the board sees every entry.

Sound familiar?

The pool code is everyone's code.

  • The pool combination is known to half the neighborhood — non-residents included.
  • Re-keying the clubhouse after every move-out costs more than the board wants to spend.
  • Renters moved out last year and their kids still use the pool.
  • Someone has to unlock the clubhouse for every party and meeting.

How it works

Live in one sitting.

01

Print the QR sign

Put it up at the gate. No app, no hardware to start.

02

A resident scans

Phone camera, any phone. Nothing to install.

03

Phone verified

A text code the first time — then remembered for 90 days, one tap.

Gate opens

They get the keypad code, or a smart lock opens itself.

Amenity hours

Pool hours, clubhouse hours, fitness-room hours — set per gate in one click. Scans outside them are refused, and the board hears about attempts.

Free

Renters until the lease ends

Give a renter an end date. The day it passes, the pool gate stops opening for them — nobody else's code changes.

Free

Guest passes from residents

A resident texts a guest a pass for the day. The guest gets in on their own phone, and you see who invited whom.

Parties and meetings

An event list opens the clubhouse for the people on it, for that afternoon only — a birthday, the annual meeting, a vendor visit.

Pool rules signed

Everyone signs the pool rules and waiver once, on their phone, before getting the code. Name, date and version on record.

Questions boards ask

Does it work with the keypad we already have?

Yes. QR Gate hands your keypad code to verified people — nothing to install at the gate. Keys and the keypad keep working as before.

Do people need an app or an account?

No. They scan with the phone camera and verify their number with a text code once. The phone is remembered for 90 days.

Can a delinquent account lose amenity access?

Yes — switch the resident off and the gates refuse them on their next scan. Switch them back on when the account is current.

Does the gate stay openable from inside?

Yes. QR Gate only controls getting in — exits and emergency egress never depend on it.

We have a smart lock on the clubhouse. Can it open by itself?

Often, yes — Yale, Schlage, Kwikset, August, gate controllers and more connect on Pro ($7 per door per month).

What does it cost?

Free for one gate and up to 25 residents. Growth ($29/month) adds up to 10 amenities, unlimited residents, guest passes, event lists and waivers.
