Masajid & Islamic centers

Open the masjid for every prayer. Without handing out keys.

Musallis scan a QR code at the door, verify their phone, and get the code — only inside the prayer windows you set. Fajr without someone driving in to unlock, no code passed around on WhatsApp, and a record of who came in.

Sound familiar?

One key holder can't be at every Fajr.

  • Someone has to drive in to unlock for Fajr — and when they can't, the door stays shut.
  • The door code went around on WhatsApp years ago and has never changed.
  • After Isha the building is empty, but nobody knows who still has a way in.
  • Eid and Jumu'ah bring hundreds of people the board has never met.

How it works

Live in one sitting.

01

Print the QR sign

Put it up at the door. No app, no hardware to start.

02

A musalli scans

Phone camera, any phone. Nothing to install.

03

Phone verified

A text code the first time — then remembered for 90 days, one tap.

04

Door opens

They get the keypad code, or a smart lock opens itself.

Made for masajid

The door follows the prayer schedule.

Prayer windows

Give each door several windows a day — Fajr, Dhuhr through Isha, Jumu'ah. Outside them the code isn't handed out, and you get an email when someone tries.

Free

Change the code, tell nobody

Change the keypad code whenever you like — or on a weekly schedule, with an email telling you the new one. Musallis always get the current code from the QR.

Free

Congregation list

Import your congregation from a CSV. Make a side door congregation-only, and keep the main door open to any visitor who verifies their phone.

Eid and special nights

An event list opens the doors for the people on it, for one morning or night — Eid prayer before the usual hours, Laylat al-Qadr, a nikah.

Growth

Ask before letting in

Set a door to ask first: each scan sends a request to a board member's phone. They approve or decline from the app or the dashboard while the visitor waits on the page.

Growth

Staff and volunteer hours

The imam, the cleaner and the weekend school teachers clock in by scanning the same QR. Hours per person and a CSV every week.

Questions masajid ask

Does it work with the keypad we already have?

Yes. QR Gate hands your keypad code to verified people — nothing to install at the door. Keys and the keypad keep working as before.

Do people need an app or an account?

No. They scan with the phone camera and verify their number with a text code once. The phone is remembered for 90 days.

Do prayer windows follow the prayer times automatically?

Not yet — you set the windows yourself, and adjust them when the times shift with the seasons. Several windows a day per door is fine.

Can the sisters' entrance have its own code?

Yes. Every door gets its own QR code, its own code and its own hours.

What do you keep about the people who come in?

Only a scrambled form of the phone number and its last 4 digits — never the full number, unless you add someone to your congregation list yourself.

What does it cost?

Free for one door and up to 25 congregation members. Growth ($29/month) adds up to 10 doors, an unlimited congregation, event lists and approvals.
