Temples, synagogues, gurdwaras & chapels

Open for every service, prayer and mass. Closed the rest of the time.

Members, volunteers and visitors scan a QR code at the door, verify their phone, and get the code — only around the times you worship. Nobody has to come early to unlock, nobody keeps a key, and you have a record of who came in.

Sound familiar?

The building opens when someone remembers to unlock it.

  • Someone has to come early to unlock before every service, and stay late to lock up.
  • Keys and codes went out over the years, and nobody is sure who still has one.
  • Holy days and festivals bring far more people than a normal week.
  • The building sits empty between gatherings, with no record of who went in.

Made for every faith

The door keeps your calendar of worship.

Opens for each service

List your services, prayers or masses — daily, weekly, or on the days you pick — and the door opens some minutes before each and closes after. Or follow sunrise to sunset, or prayer times worked out every day.

Change the code, tell nobody

Change the keypad code whenever you like — or on a schedule, with an email telling you the new one. People always get the current code from the QR.

Ask before letting in

Set the office door to ask first: each scan sends a request to a leader's phone, and the visitor waits on the page for the answer.

Growth

Staff and volunteer hours

Clergy, custodians and teachers clock in by scanning the same QR. Hours per person and a CSV every week.

Questions places of worship ask

Does it work with the keypad we already have?

Yes. QR Gate hands your keypad code to verified people — nothing to install at the door. Keys and the keypad keep working as before.

Do people need an app or an account?

No. They scan with the phone camera and verify their number with a text code once. The phone is remembered — for 90 days unless the place chooses otherwise.

Our services aren't at the same time every week. Does that work?

Yes, on Growth. Set each service on its own days, add seasons with their own hours, and one-off openings for special days. Closures and holidays win over all of them.

Can the hall and the main entrance have different hours?

Yes. Every door gets its own QR code, its own code and its own hours.

What do you keep about the people who come in?

Only a scrambled form of the phone number and its last 4 digits — never the full number, unless you add someone to your member list yourself.

What does it cost?

Free for one door and up to 25 members. Growth ($29/month) adds up to 10 doors, unlimited members, event lists, approvals and the staff clock.
